RICHeS Programme Board

The RICHeS Programme Board forms a key component of the AHRC Major Investment Governance Model. The Board will support and make recommendations where needed, on matters of delivery, strategy and assurance for the RICHeS programme. The Board will own and be accountable for the successful delivery of the Programme to time, budget and quality. The Board will help identify and support approaches that will lead to the successful realisation of desired outcomes and benefits. 

Composition 

The RICHeS Programme Board will consist of 12 members including the Chair and Senior Responsible Officer (SRO). The Board members will be representatives of a combination of UKRI and external stakeholders with representation from finance, programme management, impacts and benefits realisation to ensure appropriate assurance.

Frequency of Meetings 

Additional members may be brought in on an ad-hoc basis to support an activity as recommended by the Chair.  

The RICHeS Programme Board will formally meet to review programme progress four times a year. The Board may be asked to convene exceptionally at other times throughout the year, when required, in order to expedite key decisions.
